"Great hotel and lovely stay. It is on an estuary along a narrow lane (single track in parts) and nearest town/shops a good 30 minute walk with some extremely steep parts to climb, so not for the less able in my opinion. However, a great spot to visit other pretty places if you dont mind relying on your car daily. "

"I have to say that it was the best nights sleep my wife and I have had for a very long time. Jack I think was worth a special mention he catered for us exceptionally well at reception and in the restaurant. The receptionist at the spa was also very friendly and helpful. "

"Room was small but very tidy, it had everything we needed. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but ok for one night. The view was amazing, high over other houses the countryside stretched for miles. Don’t book if you don’t like heights. Unfortunately there was something making a noise all night (heating, A/C, water) I don’t know what but it sounded like a heart beat all night long and kept me awake. "Third time we have stayed here. Very convienient, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The let down was Room 12 which has restricted head room which is a particular issue if you wake at night. Was not aware of this when booking though now ive looked at reviews, others have commented on the same issue. Will definately stay again, just not in that room."

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "
