"Welcome was good. Room was good. Staff a bit slow as per most of the Cinnamon hotels we have visited. Pool area was nice. Such a shame about the beach. Plastic and glass all the way along the beach, which ever way you turned. We didn't venture onto the sea because of this. Buffet was a bit limited and as per usual, the western food wasn't that great. We did find a good bar on the beach called Fernando's and a good restaurant called Cafe on the 18th. Great salads and other dishes. Service was...

"The hotel is amazing ! We took the junior suite and was better than expected. The room was specious, clean and a jacuzzi too. We had the view on the pool which was great. The staff , the manager was super lovely...alway there to please you...and we had a good laugh with the 2 gents at the bar 😉 thank you. The food was also very very nice. I highly recommend that hotel you will not be disappointed...."

"Easy walk to the beach. Lovely swimming pool. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Room is fairly small but has all you need. Good airconditioning. TV with English film channels. Bathroom, - shower with hot water. Kettle teabags etc. Good WiFi. Close to restaurants and bars. Generally very pleasant and good value for money. Staff friendly and efficient."

"Fantastic retreat/stay, room and amenities were great. Rotating menu for dinner was a nice touch for guests staying more than 1-2 nights. add on trips were fun, but could have stayed in the room the whole time as well."
