"One night at cheap rate so no real complaint as the booking was for a small double. That it certainly was with virtually a baby bath. But again there was a very nice powerful shower. Everything very cramped. Had to squeeze down both sides of bed. The proverbial couldn't swing a cat but fine for one night and light luggage. Would stay again at the price (£45)."

"Historic building right in the centre of Nottingham. Quirky rooms in keeping with its age. There are some bits that are needing updating, carpet ripped, marks on walls, but it was clean, tidy and great value for money for its location and what we needed. The parking is a 2 minute walk to Lace Street car park. "

Conference Overnighter

"Friendly welcome, smooth check in (used to be hotel receptionist so appreciate that all the more). Comfortable room with everything I needed - extra heater did make it a tad hot but OK once that off (woman of age with internal heating). Slept so well I overslept. Food at all conference events was great as was service. Slight issue with shower head pointing the wrong way and spraying the floor - operator error). Quick swim and steam refreshed me - had I not overslept, would have been down early doors. Noise from Rock City was not unreasonable - couldn,t find the suggested earplugs though - and I never go away to do the ironing - but a welcome addition."
