Forget about staff speaking any English or foriner language. Not there even they say they speaking English there is no convenience stores near by to pick up anything . "The check in was very easy and quick. Unfortunately while the room was accessible for a wheelchair its bathroom wast very easy for to get into and only had a tub but not a shower as I requested and there were no grab bars by the toilet. Otherwise the room was spacious and the double bed was comfortable."

"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"I am an elder and stairs are a bit difficult for me. There is no elevator but I was so impressed with how the very kind staff carried my bags upstairs and helped me figure out how to order food from a local restaurant. The room was simple, attractive, clean, and comfortable. I would come back and spend more time in the sweet town. "

"Large, spartan but comfortable rooms with many amenities for the price. Fridge. Hot water with good pressure, aircon, TV but with mostly local channels. Great location near the train station and weekend market. Also nearby other tourist services and several good restaurants. Typical hard beds and Wi-Fi cut out sometimes. Some stains required too, even when using elevator Even so, this hotel is fantastic value for money. I enjoyed my stay."
