"Birthday weekend break. Unfortunately storm Bert made an appearance and the weekend was exceptionally wet. Close to seafront and local shopping centre. We had top floor with view of the sea (apart for rain clouds) good breakfast at hotel (included)"

"Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at The Nici. Staff are wonderful, food and drinks super tasty and we would definitely return. The icing on the cake for us was how dog friendly the hotel is. We watched the hotel Christmas decorations going up yesterday so it looks even more magnificent - tempted to make another trip leading up to the festive celebrations. Great hotel! "

"Good hotel as a base for visiting the area. Cleanliness was good and the staff were helpful. The decoration was quirky but ok. £10 per day to park was a bit steep. Our room was a bit cold and there were no instructions for the heating control."

"Such a lovely stay for my partners birthday, got a lovely upgrade too. Rooms are wonderful and spacious with a comfortable bed. Also, I mistakenly left my expensive hairdryer and the hotel shipped it back to me next day with no trouble. Very enjoyable stay. "

"Budget hotel for budget price - what else can you expect Hotel mostly clean but everything very tired and worn. I went for a swim in the morning and the lights in the pool were broken so swam in the dark (only a bit of natural light from glass bricks to outside) Bed as quite hard but i stept quite well. Didnt have breakfast so cant comment on food."

"Good hotel and staff. Nice rooms Fridge in room bit noisy when trying to sleep. Main quibble.Assumed hotel parking was free but found out that's only if you book direct. Had to pay an additional £12 per day to park! Even then, spaces not guaranteed."
