"Room basic but nice and clean. Excellent shower. Bed comfy. We were nervous about potential of noise from pub but we stayed on a saturday night had absolutely no disturbance. Only problem in the room was lack of plug sockets. Breakfast excellent good quality produce, not fried, tasted lovely, served nice and hot!! Staff friendly and welcoming. Area surrounding seemed quiet, co-op in walking distance also could walk to the country park. Thanks, we had a comfortable 2 nights sleep with lovely...

The food was excellent and they made every effort to help our birthday celebrations. The pool and sauna were wonderful and the grounds were heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer!"

"It’s a quirky hotel. You love it or you don’t. We happened to love it. It’s need some updating, but without loosing any of its character. Excellent location.
