"We had a pretty good stay at the Toyoko Inn Saga. The Japanese style breakfast was great for one of us. The tub was nice but there were hairs left in the bathroom and a few pieces of plastic left on the floor of our cleaned room. Note that check in is at 4! Pretty late and the latest of anywhere we stayed in Japan. You are not allowed in a minute before 4. They have self check in and checkout machines that seem redundant. The staff still have to assist with it as it’s not very straight...

"The hotel facilities are quite dated, with a particularly unpleasant experience in the bathroom sink with the smell of sewage. The rooms were clean, all amenities were available, but I would only rate this hotel as a budget friendly option. The merits of the hotel were: cheap, super close to the station. "Miyako hotel is perfect… can’t thank enough to all staff who are the best and always have smiles on their face when they see us. Hotel room and amenities are excellent but really is the hotel staff who make our travel experience complete. Particularly the spa and reception desk and the rest of staff from luggage handling and the ground floor personnel who help with our taxi cab arrival. Will define come again because of the hotel staff. Great management always starts with people and their services. Thank you to you all❤️！"

"The staff and the amenities ( face steamer , massage cushion, hair dryer, umbrella ) is above and beyond. The location is the best of all. Near the jr hakata station. The staff are very accomodating. What i dont like is the towels are plced in a box on the bathroom floor besides the trash can which i dont find hygienic. "
