"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"We had rented the apartment and it was very nice, clean and cosy. Fortunately we did not have to cook nor eat onsite because it is really not equipped to do any kind of cooking. Would be great that at time of arrival more information about activities that take place, like horse riding. The breakfast is $10 Eu per person which I think is a bit too much and they require a swimming cap for pool use. The sell them if you want to use the pool. "

We did visit the spa and steam room on our last stay, the spa was a little run down and wouldn’t pay for this if we stay again.
