"Beautiful hotel, room and staff."

"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling...

"Too strict about check out. Hotel was half empty and still couldn't check out later... Everything else was ok"

"The property is well maintained and extremely clean. Be sure to have the room cleaned as they have some night critters. Would be great that at time of arrival more information about activities that take place, like horse riding. The breakfast is $10 Eu per person which I think is a bit too much and they require a swimming cap for pool use. The sell them if you want to use the pool. "

The breakfast spread was wonderful and the restaurant was excellent for dinner - fairly priced for fine dining experience. Parking available on site, and staff speaks English. "Property area was comfortable. Quite few amenities. Food was accurate, quality was ok. Did not like that on the rate was not enclosed the place on beach. That had to be settled as extra. And for an hotel on the sea this is quite odd. Missing baby-club and music. Only piano-bar music, the siger was very nice. But it could have been better if could offer different kind of entertinement. "

"Our room/bed, pool, bountiful buffet and staff were the highlights of this hotel. We did visit the spa and steam room on our last stay, the spa was a little run down and wouldn’t pay for this if we stay again. The service for the spa was odd as we weren’t sure what we were doing and were left to find where it is and what to do with no help. "
