"Staff were as usual friendly and helpful. In a lovely position on the front. What lets the Grand down is the lack of parking, they have now lost free parking in the rail station, so you can park in a rugby ground over the road for £5 per day or in their "garage " which is really a large shed for £10 . Having said that we really love the hotel and will come back 2 or 3 times a year as usual. "

There was work going on while we were there which was a minor inconvenience but the room we stayed in was the real let down. Dated and uncared for. The bathroom was poorly finished and the shower was not the cleanest. The flooring was lifting and squishy in places and the room itself smelt of damp. "We had a great stay at The Osborne hotel for New Year’s Eve, the location was perfect on the beach & a short (taxi ride) into town for dinner. The hotel was clean, staff very friendly & breakfast was good. The inside pool area was a little tired but I understand they were due to close for two months for some painting/refurb works. Would definitely go back, the children loved it"

"Kelly was a wonderful host who clearly takes so much pride in her property. The room I had was comfortable with a great shower. I had the window open overnight due to the heatwave but it was lovelt and quiet all night. Would definitely visit again!"
