"I had not realized how beautifully located The Gresham is to old town Leicester. The Gresham could use some refurbishing (hall carpets as an example) however, the ambiance was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast each day was delicious with reasonable selections. My room was quite cozy and comfortable. I have other trips planned from the US to Leicester and I will always book The Gresham for my stay. Overall, it was perfect for my needs. "

"This was our 1st time booking an apartment and overall it was a good experience. The apartment is very secure with keypads on both the front door and the apartment door. The apartment itself is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need, good fridge freezer, good oven and hob, dish washer and the counter electricals like kettle and toaster.Bathroom with bath and shower is very nice and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed and lots of storage. I would rate it good...

"Liked privacy, quiet, clean, list of places to eat, Nigel was very helpful with our difficult overseas payment. Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. "Lovely hotel and service as usual for our fourth stay. Just a warning the reception area is being refurbed and breakfast finishes early on Saturday and Sundays… not the usual 11am. A letter told us in our envelope with keys which we thought was the receipt, so didn’t look at it! Us and lots of others were a bit rushed! Not a problem though."

The hotel is right at the ground and even has its own “grandstand” at one end of the bar where you can relax and enjoy a big screen experience. Our room and facilities were excellent and the breakfast buffet extensive. Will certainly be returning. "

We arrived very early due to attending a wedding so we were just leaving our bags there initially but the staff said the room was ready which took the stress off the day. Great family room very clean and tidy. Spacious with everything you would need like a hairdryer and ironing board and iron. Great location beaides the train station and tram stop. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Nottingham. The night staff on reception were very chatty and friendly....

Lovely hotel

"Stayed for 2 night's in your hotel. Very helpful receptionist (Gemma) who helped with an extra lamp for the as it was a little dark. Also a fan due to my husbad been very warm. Nothing was to much trouble and all with a smile. The room was very clean and plenty of clean towels and toiletries. Tea/coffee making equipment was lovely. Small fridge with x2 bottles of water. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety to suit all. Definitely recommend this hotel. "
