Hotel Sunroute Ginza was a great location for my 3 day stay in Tokyo. The staff was so friendly and kind. I felt safe in the area and the room had just enough space for me!

It is the first time we booked a smoking room. It turned out to be a big problem. The room was so dirty, with all yellowish stains on the window and bathroom curtains and on the walls and dusty in the bathroom cup tray. It looks the room was not cleaned for a while. The staff tried to find a better room for us but all of them are dirty, even a non smoking room. Another issue is the hotel doesn't even give a bottle water. Guests have to purchase on their vending machine. Cannot imagine how the previous reviews are good. ?! Fake? When we tried to cut the stay a few days shorter the hotel was reluctant. So we had to contact Expedia to get the issue settled. The hotel really need to be thoroughly cleaned and updated because those rooms are simply a shame especially in Japanese standard.

The hotel is well located near train stations and shopping malls. There are many eateries around the vicinity at reasonable prices. The staff are polite and efficient. The room though small is well equipped. Overall, a good stay!

Very nice rooms with quiet AC that works great. The walls and floors are very sound proof as we did not have any noises leaking into our room. Super clean and modern look. The lighting controls were great because you have control of all of the lights beside the bed. The Ginza area was a perfect choice because the Ginza G10 station was close and made getting around to other districts very easy. I will for sure stay at this hotel again.

Surrounded with many convenient stores and reasonably-priced restaurants, this is a good hotel in Ginza. It is within walking distance to Ginza station, staff are pleasant, amenities in the room are adequately provided. Definitely a good choice!

Perfect location as it is walkable to tokyo station and other stations, perfect for shopping around ginza (uniqlo, muji, itoya), quiet and safe neighbourhood. Cleaning service was provided everyday. Downside is they don’t have laundry machines on site. Need to walk quite a bit to do laundry. It is very compact hotel like other Japanese hotels but nice facility.
