"Very impressed with the Onoma Tsuruga Resort. We stayed for two nights in November and loved the property. The room we had , with a private rotemburo was very nice. It was much larger than most rooms in Japan, had excellent facilities, and the private outdoor bath was the real winner. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel. "Aesthetically absolutely beautifully designed interior, however not so functional. We stayed over the new year so it was cold/dry weather so we wish they had humidifiers. The beds are extremely comfortable unlike the beds at the major hotels so we were able to get rest well to recover from 13 hours flight. Unfortunately unlike other guests, we didn't get response from the owner quickly. We got a response 3 days after we checked out which was not a big deal anyway. "

"First time stay at a Tokyu Stay. I'll definitely be using the chain again. Loved the hospitality from staff, the convinience of the room (there a washing machine/dryer in the room) and the onsen within the hotel. The hotel was well located. Easy walk to the Red Brick Warehouse, the Hakodate morning market (the hotel offers breakfast tickets for some restaurants in the market) and close to the tram stops so you can get around Hakodate with ease"
