Room smelled of Tabbaco. We were give a different room with no small fridge the was given another room and every time they made us come down to the lobby instead of sending an employee to give us the new room and key. There is always a tabbaco smell everywhere

I have stayed at this hotel 3-4 times a year for decades. This hotel was built over 40 years ago and remains a Tijuana icon. It went through a rough period for a few years, but over the last 10 years, they have done a fantastic job of revitalizing it. Emma's, the restaurant downstairs, is excellent, and their espresso martini is perfect. There is also a new restaurant/bar that I haven't tried yet. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by numerous restaurants, including La Especial, one of my all-time favorites in Tijuana. Be sure to ask for Diego—he is the best waiter you'll ever have, and at that restaurant, the waiters cook your steak! It's super safe for both locals and tourists and is close to everything. Parking costs 10 or 15 pesos each time you check out.

Didn't receive a room upgrade, the room we stayed on was facing the street and you could hear the traffic noise. We usually reserve the VIP room that is on the higher floors and when possible, facing the golf course, it's less noisy. We like the new system for the parking area, we pay 20 pesos and the cameras recognize our license plate providing unlimited in-outs at no extra charge The room was clean but missing a mini fridge.

Casino cheats! They pay you then say they paid you wrong then take what the Casino says they overpaid you. note ‘ there’s been about 3 hands played already’ Only thing wrong with that is that no one shows you proof that they overpaid you and just takes it. I won’t be playing there again. I have stayed there serval times and this always happens. Learned my lesson big time!
