"The hotel was on the water, steps from the pier. Great location. Our room and property were clean. A nice touch: the property allows guests to use a refrigerator (although, locked overnight), and they have a refillable water station. "Nice hotel that has had a make-over in the past few years. Staff very helpful and accommodations in the rooms very nice. The hallways and areas between main lobby and rooms could use some improvement, given the price, the overall feel of the place is not super luxury. The food in the restaurant was superb. "This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening."

"The owner is super nice and super friendly. Gave us plenty of tips and advice. 3 minute walk to el malecón which is all but stores and restaurants. Breakfast included fresh cut fruits, fresh juice, fresh coffee, warm bread rolls, scrambled eggs, butter and jam. If we ever go back to the Galapagos, this is where we will stay. "

"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."
