"Really great hostel with amazing shared spaces, huge included bfast (continental plus! Omelet and empanada), super kind host. Not super close to town bust just a 15-min walk or $2 taxi. "

"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."

"Nice hotel that has had a make-over in the past few years. Staff very helpful and accommodations in the rooms very nice. The hallways and areas between main lobby and rooms could use some improvement, given the price, the overall feel of the place is not super luxury. The food in the restaurant was superb. We had the complementary breakfast (which was extraordinary) plus two dinners and a lunch which were all exceptional. The restaurant staff seemed like they were nearly all new to the job...

"I enjoyed my stay here. The room itself is very basic but for the 3 days I was on the island it had everything I needed:hot water to shower, good wifi, filtered water to fill a bottle with and air conditioning. They also have a smart TV in the room which is a nice touch but I was too exhausted every day to ever use it. The other nice bonus was a small coffee/tea station and a microwave in the lobby common space. My tours all left early so it was nice to be able to grab some bread and fruit from the panaderia and have a little breakfast with the provided coffee even before I left. The people who run the hotel are all very nice and helpful. The only downside I could find is if you're a light sleeper and like to sleep in later this might not be the place for you. Around 6-7 am every day you could hear trucks buses outside that were quite loud. For me it wasnt a problem because I was up for my tours anyways. Overall a good stay for the price! "

Balcony bliss

"The penthouse was amazing. Very spacious and clean, with a fully stocked kitchen (including eggs and real coffee). The balcony was exactly like the pictures, with a nice breeze overlooking the bay. The hammock was also nap tested and approved! Quick walk one direction into town, the other direction for beaches, hikes, and the interpretive center. We wished we had stayed there a few more days, it was so relaxing. "

Great spot in San Cristobal

"My husband and I stayed 4 nights April 4-8. The location is right at the pier to catch boat for excursions and near all of the sea lions. There is a great little store right next door with excellent lattes/coffee and nice snacks, beer, suntan lotions etc. lots of restaurants super close. It was a great spot and very clean. Andrea and Max st the front desk were very nice and helpful. AC worked really good!!"

"Review for Casa de Nelly – San Cristóbal, Galápagos We arrived at Casa de Nelly with modest expectations, but our experience far exceeded them in every way. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the family made us feel truly at home. They provided personalized advice tailored to our needs, answered all our questions with genuine friendliness, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. The location is perfect—just two blocks from the Malecón (seafront) and about a seven-minute walk to Playa Mann. It made exploring San Cristóbal easy and convenient. And let’s not forget the family dog—we even fell in love with him. Casa de Nelly isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience filled with hospitality and heart. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to friends and family."

"This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening."

"First time in Galapagos and the staff and management at the Indigo made it the most amazing trip. They were very helpful in booking different activities and restaurants. The staff also made great drinks and food was excellent at the hotel. It is by far the most luxurious option in Galapagos. While some write about it being a higher price point, it is fully worth it for the level of service, cleanness of rooms, quality of food and hotel. Thank you to entire staff at hotel for making the trip amazing. A special thank you to Mauricio the general manager and Erika for the help on the trip."
