"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "

"A lovely Inn to stay in historic Hathersage. Small car park that made parking a little tricky at times. Pleasant room overlooking the car park. Bed a little uncomfortable but not a problem. "This was a brilliant hotel for dog walkers. Had fantastic facilities such as shower for the dogs after a long muddy walk. The retreat was a lovely addition for you to go and unwind and enjoy a coffee after a long day. Tori who worked the reception was a lovely lady, very welcoming. Rolo our dog loved seeing her.
