"Very nice place. Queen size beds in a 4 bed dorm was interesting but we were in the room and the AC was great. My only negative comment is that you can hear everything on the street, no noise cancelation at all. "

"My partner and I had an amazing stay at Kavil House. The rooms were very clean and big enough to feel comfortable. I did not have a cell phone and my airline lost my luggage. The staff was extremely helpful and diligent in personally reaching out to the airport to keep my updated on the status of my bag. The owners are so friendly. Located on a quiet, safe alleyway in the center of town. I would recommend this stay to anyone."

"We stayed 5 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was amazing, so very friendly. They went out of their way to get you a taxi or car. We had an early morning train to catch and they made us a box breakfast for the trip. The location was very central to everything in old town."

"This is was an excellent stay and it is a family run business. It is in the heart of chiang mai. Tons if restaurants, coffee shops and massage clinics near by. The morning breakfast is great and you choose from her menu. She is very accommodating and the husband runs the coffee shop. Great coffee. They have a mango tree and a nice dog too. She can suggest places to see and organize taxis too if you need. "

"This is the cutest little guesthouse located in a perfect location in old town. The bed was SO comfy, best sleep I'd had since I got to Thailand. Housekeeping daily, lots of towels and 2 bottles of water each day. The gardens are charming. Check in and out super easy. Had a really great stay I would highly recommend this hotel! "

"Fantastic and attentive staff, extremely helpful and friendly, especially with our ‘out of hours’ requests. Hotel is well located in the Old City, within walking distance from every major point, easy to find and get to. It’s clean, very comfortable firm bed. You get what you pay for for a 3*, and is excellent value for money. Very good a la carte breakfast. "

"Great place, great staff, excellent shower and bed. Breakfast was ok, wait for the Phad Thai. Pretty quiet. Pool was right on the street and pretty small, we didn’t use it. The location is fantastic for exploring, but difficult for car service to find, as it’s in an alley off a busy road. Best to choose a nearby landmark or business and get picked up there. I would use them again."

"Pretty property. Felt safe the entire time i was there. The breakfast and the ala carte food is great. Music during the evening to complement the dinner. The property is safe and clean. Can feel a little dated with keyed entry to rooms. A little bit of a distance from the night market but not a lot. "
