The hotel was very quaint and the staff was very helpful. It was located right along the canal with easy access to restaurants and the Saturday market.

The property is central to many shops and restaurants. My room had a nice view of the canal. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were easy. Breakfast option offered.

Beautiful downstairs reception and bar; great to have storage for our bikes. Super breakfast and breakfast room. Lovely to have interesting ornaments and antiques in display. A minor criticism was the lack of umbrellas to borrow as it was raining hard when we arrived.

The hotel is friendly, but the bar is full of drunks. The room has no air circulation, and I could feel the bed springs. Good water temp.

Good central location for eating, bars and shops. Unfortunately room wasn't cleaned on one of the days. Mentioned this to staff early evening around 6pm and later when returned to hotel at 10pm when it still had not been cleaned. Staff only said they didn't know why not. Used cups left in the room for 3 days and no clean ones left when they were all used. Specifically had to ask to get them changed.

Hôtel avec un charme typique "canal house" dans la vieille ville de Leyde. Ne cherchez pas d'ascenseur et attention aux escaliers assez raides. Deco à l'ancienne, très agréable et typique. Personnel sympathique et serviable.

Gezellig hotel middenin het centrum van Leiden. Dat maakt meteen dat het niet zo stil is ‘s nachts. Enkele ramen bv. Het is een oud historisch pand, dus ook wel begrijpelijk. Dat bepaalt ook de sfeer. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Al met al een fijn verblijf!

Niet doen zeer teleurstellend
Hotel is oud! Ongemakkelijk. Geen lift. En heel duur voor wat je krijgt. Enige positieve is de locatie. Personeel rondweg onbeschoft. Als je je dag niet hebt blijf dan thuis. Maar de manier van praten vanuit het personeel was betuttelend. Kamer was bloedheet grenzend aan een lawaaiige steeg. Geen airco. Maw erg teleurstellend. Tijd voor een volledige renovatie van het hotel en nieuw personeel.
