"Absolutely beautiful place from the scenery to the gorgeous rooms. The owners were pure delightful and couldnt do enough. Now..breakfast..wow fresh croissants, toast and a full fry! Tea coffee orange and Gareths own ginger drink..lovely. Really cant say good enough things other than we will be making this a yearly visit! And a special card and chocolates on arrival to celebrate hubbys birthday."

"We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. "Arrived earlier than expected and we were greeted by friendly cheerful staff who checked to see if our room was ready. To our delight the room was ready and we were able to check in. "Excellent experience lovely stay away with friends. Great customer service under difficult circumstances due to weather phones not working and power cuts. Staff handled it very well. A few drawbacks though for a Hotel with this many stars no bottled water in the room and the rooms were quite cool "

"This is a lovely cottage which is a short drive from Newcastle, Tollymore etc. We had a lovely stay. It is well equipped (need to pay extra for internet which we didn't use and a few minor things in need of repair but we have passed this to the owner). Beds a bit creaky but otherwise bedrooms very comfortable. Very suitable for kids and a dog! Back yard is completely enclosed so safe to let dog out. Parking at the front door for 1 car. "We stayed in the family room and it was brilliant! We had so much space even though there were 5 of us in it. The kids absolutely loved the bunk bed! The pool was great especially the baby pool as it was lovely and warm for the baby. Breakfast was super, and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend "

"The staff are friendly but I had an issue with the shower being lukewarm to cold which was very disappointing when you stay at a hotel. I didn’t have a shower because the water was not warm enough. The food is good. On my previous stay the shower was just fine but at this time wasn’t and they didn’t offer to change rooms as they didn’t rectify the problem. "

"We had a wonderful stay at The Belmont House Hotel recently. We received a very warm welcome from the lovely receptionist which makes all the difference when you have travelled a distance in such bad weather. Our room was magnificent, above average in size and tastefully decorated. We overlooked the gardens to the front and side and yet it was very quiet. It was spotlessly clean. The en-suite was both modern & spacious. Despite the size, the room was very cosy & warm, we felt very comfortable in the large bed and slept well. We thoroughly enjoyed our Breakfast, again the staff were very friendly & helpful. The food was delicious & prepared with care. We can not recommend this Hotel highly enough! What a gem, nestled in the wonderful town of Banbridge! Great Shops & very friendly community. Put it on your list for a visit you won’t regret it! Enjoy Big thanks to EVERYONE at The Belmont House From Robert & Janet Williams "
