"The staff barely spoke a word of English. I got to the hotel, they gave me a room, and then made me change rooms just as I was getting settled in. Not sure if they didn't want an American in the room they gave me or they saw on my reservation how much I paid, but had to go from a nice room to a lesser one. Found used bar of soap under a bench next to the tub. Shower had very little pressure, and the wall papers and stuff looked like it had seen better days. It's a Japanese guesthouse so that's...
