"We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. They said we didn’t cancel within the cancelation time frame?? This place is such a scam. I do not recommend unless you want to risk losing your money. "

"We made this our home base for exploring Capri, Naples, Paestum, Pompeii, etc. Ana is the perfect hostess. Her daughter in law is a fantastic chef. Bruna the dog is a welcomed visitor. We would highly recommend this choice for those driving around to various points of interest with a desire to sleep at a country estate every night with a home cooked dinner and breakfast."

"This lovely, mountainside hotel was one of our best stays anywhere EVER!! "Of the 4 rentals during our Italian adventure - this property had too many requirements, for example, even though paying a cleaning fee - we had to clean the apartment, take out trash daily and had trouble with the showers not working. Was a very nice and spacious apartment conveniently located to train station, restaurants and night life. "
