"Great communication before our stay. Such a beautiful place in Paradise valley. Lovely property with garden surrounding, the rooms are clean, well equipped and modern. Close enough to Rotarua for trips in and shopping, but isolated enough to feel like you’re off grid. Amazing - we loved it. Thank you Heather. Recommend the Wai Ariki hot springs and spa as well - Restorative journey - pure luxury - we were on our own there in the evening. "

"We stayed in the newer units to be southern end of the complex. Room was mostly clean, but previous guests have damaged some soft furnishings and paintwork - not detrimental t our trip but once noticed hard not to… this accommodation s away from the traditional hotel precinct of Rotorua BUT this a a good thing if you have hired a car - and the Skulne gondola and other attractions are a relatively short walk away. We’d stay again next time we are in NZ!"

"Our hosts Danny & Mabel were highly attentive and their property is a wonderfully secluded villa amongst the vibrant landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand. Mabel’s morning breakfast is a delight with various fruits and jams all coming from the garden. The proximity to central Rotorua is also within a 15 minute drive. This location is highly recommended. "We enjoyed our stay very much. Front staff was very friendly and helpful; check in was smooth and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. One suggestion: put some sort of air conditioner upstairs. The upstairs area was unbearably hot when we got there and didn’t cool off until the middle of the night, despite both fans and all windows open. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which have a great view of the lake. Definitely recommend the property!"

"Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"
