"The hotel is in a good location, walking distance to lots of restaurants. The TV isn't a Smart TV so can't stream Netflix. However, the TV did have Sky channels. Free water and snacks. We requested an earlier check in at 1pm (normal check in is at 2pm). The hotel replied that the earlier check in time wasn't a problem. However, when we arrived at 1:30pm, the reception said we needed to wait till 2pm. Anyway, the hotel let us to park the car inside the building before checking in so that...

"Clean and tidy room with private bathroom and shower. One double and one single bed. A shared kitchen which had full amenities although I did not use these. A warm fire place in the shared lounge which another nice room guest added in more firewood which the warmth flowed into the dining/kitchen area. If you are looking for a simple, fuss free room for an overnight/long stay, can't go wrong here. Under 10mins drive into the city/beach/Mt Maunganui. "

"Aroha checked us in with a warm welcome and she was absolutely fantastic!! We aren’t used to the 10 early checkout throughout NZ and she was the first place to offer us 11. (We didn’t even ask elsewhere as most indicated it wasn’t an option.) This was our favorite room so far in our trip. It was new, techy, clean and modern. Easy parking in front, a delicious breakfast delivered to our room and we strolled to the waterfront with access to awesome bars and restaurants all around. Thank you so much, CitySide! Future guests will also surely appreciate your top notch hotel. "
