"Set in park like grounds, spacious unit with comfortable furnishings and decor. Smell of curry cooking, could not read numbers on stove controls, no toilet paper, toilet loose on floor, only one tv channel, run out of gas so no hot water until following day, electric kettle leaking and could not use when toaster being used or fuse would blow, crockery put in pantry when wet, microwave too high on fridge"

"Location was good and clean. Paying full amount before arriving not desirable. TV selection minimal. We spoke with owner only once at beginning of our stay only because we caught them as they were leaving, hospitality non existent."

"Quiet location but a very long way from town and with steep hills. Although modernised, poorly equipped kitchen with minimum cookware and empty salt and pepper mills for instance..!! No toiletries whatsoever although the listing stated: "Free toiletries". Beds very hard but some like it that way... We have stayed in scores of baches over the years and feel this is definitely in the lower category."
