Cons -The b'fast is pretty basic, i would have expected something a little bit better (although continental) -Wifi in room wasnt good. used 3G most of the time. "The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast good and the staff very friendly. However the place is not as advertised. The pool was closed and looked like it had been closed for some time. No bar or restaurant (s). Just open for breakfast. There is another resort nearby that has these facilities so if they are important to you beware. "

"Really nice set up. Location is a little out of the way, but then it is an Agriturismo. Located approx 15 minute drive up a very steep and winding road, a little hairy at times!! However the view from the chalets towards Etna is great. The site is set on a hillside so an uphill walk or short drive to breakfast/dinner. The pool was fantastic and Filippo brought regular supplies of chilled water for us at the poolside. Dinner was buffet style with lots of variety and good value at 25euros...

"My wife and I stay at Antico Borgo ant it was awesome. Rooms are clean very well maintained with great restaurant and plenty of space to walk around. Great views on Etna and sea from terrace. "The stay had much to be desired. Check in was at 2. When we arrived at 2 we were told it would be about another hour as they were not ready. It was about 35 to 40 mins and the room was ready. Its probably not so great with children as there are 200 steps to town or same to beach otherwise its taxis which cost a bit. Breakfast was great for the view, pehaps a little pricey for the content. "Lovely location to get the train to and from. Walking distance to a lot of nice bars and restaurants. The host was lovely and very helpful. You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden!
