"This was a beautiful hotel to stay in, with exceptional service from the staff. They made us feel incredibly welcomed and ensured we had plenty of information on how to adjust to the altitude and provided coca leaves and tea. The room was clean and in great condition, breakfast was fantastic, and we were no more than a 5 minute walk from the historic center. "

"We stayed here for 2 evenings and couldn't have asked for a better stay. The location is close to all the nearby shops and restaurants, yet quiet. Breakfast was good, hotel was very cozy and clean there was free potable water and the staff were great. My husband and I got married here and they surprised us with a little gift and bottle of wine! Would recommend this place to anyone. "

"This property had a great location, 2 min walk from the main square. The property in general is very outdated. Room was ok, with narrow window to court yard, was very cold and dark. Bathroom was good size but very cold and dark. The heater was provided upon the request. Breakfast was decent. I purchased tours with the hotel front desk, prices were good, tours picked up us from hotel. The hotel provided with to go breakfasts when we were leaving early for tours, that was very nice touch. "

From the service they provided to the great hospitality they delivered to us, every day was a truly wonderful experience for us. "We had a great experience at Tierra Vivo. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, location was convenient, and breakfast was great. The staff was also very accommodating and welcoming, and allowed us to keep our luggage there for 4 days while we did our Machu Picchu trek. Only complaint is that in the second room we stayed in, there was a gap at the top of the door which allowed a lot of noise to come through. Other than that, highly recommend and would stay here again!"
