"The unit we were given was great overall. Clean and spacious. However one of the bathroom doors wasn't installed properly and we had a hard time opening and closing the bathroom door. Also there was no microwave oven installed which I was expecting from a home-stay perspective. Food purchased outside could not be re-warmed. Other than that, the unit was great."

A breeze to check-in and out! The only improvement which we hope to see is the provision of hand towel in the bathrooms and kitchen. "Homestay is spacious and provides items such as utensils, toiletries etc. Check-in was slightly troublesome since it has to be done at a hotel 5-mins drive away. Toilets were slightly dirty when we arrived (checked in at 9pm), with the floor being super wet, toilet unflushed and bathroom mat having coloured spots. Overall the stay was decent for the price, but it would be great if the cleanliness was better-maintained."

"Excellent stay at R&F TrexHomestay, the apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was seamless and accommodating to late check-in request. The apartment is located close to the checkpoint, and there are plenty of F&B options inside the R&F mall."

"Clean rooms. Basic and practical layout. Shower was great with good water pressure. Like the separate shower and toilet. All required amenities are in, not luxurious, but good enough for short stay"

"Walking distance to checkpoint and near Komtar and City Square Mall. Reached hotel in the morning and left our luggage since room is not ready. Hotel lobby is very beautiful with many staff. There is a library and play area. Received a message around 1pm that the room is ready. However, we only reached back around 7pm and heard live singing at the restaurant. Was surprised to see our superior room to be upgraded. Look like to one bedroom suite. Room is spacious with separate living room and bedroom, 2 toilets, 2 tv, work area, balcony, complimentary minibar. Next morning breakfast has many varieties. Pleasant to see live singing while eating breakfast. Highly recommended. "
