"It a convenient 1 hour away from Surabaya. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. And if you have a car, you can easily get around Taman Dayu complex (it's a big complex) where there are restaurants and shops."

"Definitely the best value for your money. The room is quite spacious, ie, not squeeshy, like many hotels these days. Very clean, very well designed interior, it's catered more for the millenials (but I love it and I'm a Gen-X!), the room and the entire hotel is light and airy. Very friendly and helpful staff. If all fave hotels in Indonesia are like this one, I'd definitely stay in a fave hotel again whenever I'm in Indonesia. Highly recommended, 5 star for everything."

"first of all the rooms doesn't have any AC or fan, and the ventilation is terrible so eventhough Tretes is supposed to be cold, we felt very uncomfortable in our room because of no air circulation. secondly if we open the window, they don't have mosquito net installed and the hotel is located very near to the mosque which has really loud speakers facing the hotel, lets just say there are lots of inconveniences while staying here.
