"Winchester Inn is great place to stay in Ashland. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, clean, and comfy. It is close to the theaters and downtown area so you don't have to drive anywhere once you check in. There are a number of breakfast options and the food is excellent. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We LOVED this period correct 1900 hotel in Ashland! Check in and out was seamless and there was always coffee in the parlor, despite never having seen the on site help. It almost made it feel as if the hotel was run by ghosts... Truly fun. That said, the mattresses themselves were not quite what I would have liked as I feel the quality did not match everything else in the hotel. Would have preferred firmer, higher quality mattresses. "I've stayed here a few times now, and every time is excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the hotel stays relatively quiet, even when busy. Breakfast is basic but plentiful, and there are plenty of options for grab-and-go if you don't want to sit and eat. It can get pretty busy and the food area is pretty small, so just be aware of that! Otherwise, a great option if you're coming through Medford. "
