Authentic Ryokans In Takasaki

"the hotel is very nice and the bed is super comfortable. I give 5 star to everything. my only suggestion is that the breakfast can be added with more nutrition value. there was no egg nor fish, a lot of rice. I can see it might be something traditional, but could use more protein. "

"The hotel is very close to the center of town. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The hot springs are not tattoo friendly."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Kashiwaya Ryokan. Although it was long to get to without a car, it was worth the travel. The 2 days there didn’t feel like it was enough time. I will return again for sure. The room was comfortable, the private onsen were beautiful and amazing. The kaiseki served at dinner were delicious and perfectly balanced.
