"Amazing hotel. Hot springs is the main feature. The hotel also provides a comfortable resting room if you don't want to stay in your room all the time. There are complimentary drinks and ice cream. There is also complimentary Ramen supper in the evening. We didn't eat the breakfast because we aren't breakfast people but from what we saw, it's a substantial Japanses breakfast offering. "

"Likes: Interesting breakfast with the option for in-room dining. Beautiful minimalist design. Good size rooms. Environmentally conscious. Friendly staff and service. Onsen. Washing machines, vending machines, microwave, ice maker. Dislikes: Lack of parking (but understandable in a big city). Lots of noisy kids running up and down the corridor late at night after 10.30pm. Lots of kids in the onsen with parents/adults shouting at them to behave. Maybe a special floor for young children...

"We were a family with young children and stayed for 4 nights. The hotel itself is great - the size and amenities available (they have a whole range of baby items and other handy items that you can request for FOC) is unbeatable in Japan. However, the location of the property itself is in a seedy area, amidst rows of very colorful nightclubs. On the first night, we were awoken at 2am by a fight but otherwise we got back by 8.30pm every night and never felt unsafe."

"Hotel had all sorts of basic amenities available at lobby. If you’re female, you can request for the women-only floor and it comes with woman-specific amenities! The only con I would say is that the surrounding area is quite messy /rowdy at night because I think there are night establishments. I’ve seen men approaching men with some hand-held banners/promotions. I can’t read Japanese so I’m not sure what it’s about. Lots of people smoking on the street. "

"I left my luggage with the reception when I had to make a 2-day trip to Tokyo. When I returned to Nagoya and checked in again, the staff used their initiative to transfer my luggage to my newly assigned room. This was much appreciated because I checked in near midnight and was carrying some luggage from my Tokyo trip. "
