" Sheraton is a nice hotel but surrounding is limited with the need to proper transport to tourist place, shopping, restaurants. No way to do so through walking. I think this is related to the country. "

"Large room with all the facilities. This hotel also has free washing machines for your clothes. Location is a miss though. There are few shops and one decent eating out place. Most of the decent value for money eating out are in shopping malls because Muscat is not that developed."

"Just perfect: super clean, spacious, friendly service, and inexpensive. Some roads around are unpaved right now due to ongoing constructions, but I am sure it will all be fixed soon. Hamra restaurant was a disappointment: electronic only menu, but wifi was imposible to connect (in the restaurant, wifi in the hotel was fast and reliable). Food was ok, although we were not sure what we ordered until it was served. (Also, a little bit overpriced perhaps.) I would stay there again, no questions...

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Though the hotel looked really old and felt like staying in an old apartment of an old building. Lots of damaged things, such as the door handles, curtains and the safe didnt work. Called for help with it but no one showed up. Breakfast was below average with flies around. "
