"Resort caters to cruise goers. The resort gets crowded during the day because they offer day passes to cruise passengers. Dining options at the resort and in the area are limited because most close down after 5pm when the ships leave. Resort was clean but many things were broken. One of the two water slides were closed off the entire time during our stay. The only hot tub was not working for a full day. Many of the resort’s shops and restaurants were vacant during our stay. "The property is lovely, our room was spacious and clean (we chose one with a balcony). The food was really good in the buffet, lots of different options. Ate at the Edgewater a couple of times which was fabulous. And at the Italian which was also pretty good. Both need reservations. The pool and beach areas are pretty with lots of sunbeds….but still not enough at times, especially if you’ve been out on an excursion and come back after lunch. People put towels on beds at 7am which staff do not...

"Convenient for the airport. Rooms were nice and facilities ( pool and gym). However, the gym air con was not on high enough and therefore too hot, there was no water in the gym in the morning, there were no towels in the pool showers and generally the service to get drinks outside was slow. "

"The stay was the best, we were provided a complimentary room upgrade on arrival which was an amazing surprise. The accommodations are beyond amazing. It is the most professionally managed resort I have ever stayed.We would have appreciated a little broader menu in the main dining restaurant (more varieties), but the choices there were deliciously prepared. A real repeat, 5 star!"

"While your staff was incredibly nice, the service was not what may be expected from a hotel of this caliber. We had countless issues with in-room dining and house keeping services. Your staff wasn’t rude but the service was not exactly good either. "I had a great stay at the SLS Baha Mar. the fact that the entire complex is all connected via casino/mall is nice. The beach front was lovely and so were the pools. My only complaint was that the doors are very poorly insulated to keep noise out from the halls. It was very loud at certain times. "

"I want to start to give Kudos to Mark who was at the front desk as we checked-in. Mark was super friendly, very professional and has such a positive vibe. Now in regards to our stay, Initially I was quite upset with their houskeeping service as I had an issue that was not resolved until I was superbly furious and had to physically head downstairs to request to talk at some point to the general manager on our 3rd day, however, that changed when finally the management team seriously listened and resolved the incompetency as it was the simplest issue that could have been resolved without the need for all the fuss. But kudos to the mangement team and I appreciate when they followed up and made our stay a more relaxed one The facilities are good the hotel is cleaned and maintained quite frequently including the pools. Most all staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was great and helped us reserve an excursion with ease. The food options/restaurants were limited and sometimes might not fully operate,food was decently well. The great thing about the Hotel's location is that you'll have other food options that are a 5 or 10 minute walk around downtown or you can take a taxi; you also get to see the city and access other places like the straw market. Frankly, we won't visit the Bahamas again due to how expensive it is and not as what we expected, but If I ever do I would certainly stay at the Margaritaville. Suggestion: Install filtered water stations on each floor "
