No food was offered but a cafe across the road opened at 8am for breakfast. Less positive: Although our room was fine the decor in the corridor and the door to get in were pretty grotty.This is a pub and although it was quiet on a Tuesday night I imagine it could be noisy at the weekend. Run by Joan, who is extremely helpful with any queries you might have, going out of her way to assist, she is a real professional, and likewise the waitress we had was exceptional. The accommodation was possibly the best we've ever had for peace and quiet, and again the breakfast was superb, one of our best ever we've had.
