Very nice hotel with large, fancy rooms in an historic setting. Friendly staff, excellent restaurant, nice grounds. Definitely recommend for a country stay near Dublin.

This castle hotel FAR exceeded our expectations! The rooms were massive; the water pressure so strong; the food delicious; the grounds impeccable; the decor exquisite; and saving the best for last, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. They had to be the friendliest, kindest, most helpful humans in all of Ireland! I HIGHLY recommend this stay!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food offered by the restaurant was very good. The rooms were very nice, the junior suite was well worth the price. The best shower pressure I've experienced in my travels.

Got a present of a night in Barberstown, as we had told people about our last sray here...again, Great Staff, Great Service, Food is 2nd. to none. If you have a chance, definately visit.

I wish we would have had more time to explore the grounds at the Barberstown Castle. The inside was gorgeous and had so much character and history!! It was just a short overnight stay! Next time it will be longer!!
