"The staff was very welcoming, and immediately gave us all the information we needed, as well as a restaurant guide for the area, a map of the property, and a list of all the amenities. Stowe is a very cute town with lots to see and many beautiful buildings. I particularly loved all the art shops that carried all kinds of pottery, paintings, prints, and handmade goods by local artists, and the hotel is in close proxinity to it all!"

"The property is nice. It has gone through a lot of renovations doring the last year . Some details need further improvements, like the most indoor swimming pool and hot tub and change rooms clearly dated and not n need of work. The room we stay in was of good sice, and had a functioning fireplace with all necessary to make a fire, except perhaps some instructions to use it. "We wanted a quick little getaway and this was the perfect place. Everything about the property is immaculate - we’ve never stayed at a hotel that was this clean. Even the pool area was super-clean and neat. The staff was extremely personable and attentive. "Exceeded expectations. The lobby area was nicely decorated for the holidays with couch and table seating and there is a great "kitchen" nook for coffee, tea and hot chocolate and some simple continental breakfast items. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. While there are some dated aspects to the hotel, we barely noticed. It was definitely the best 2 star hotel we have stayed at! "
