Parking was limited and it was pouring rain. Overall the stay was good. The young man at the counter wasn’t very friendly at check-in. The walls are thin. I was staying on the 2nd floor and could hear people at the bar. Also had young HS students running up and down the halls making lots of noise after 10pm. The room and bed were great. The cleaning people were very friendly as well.

Stayed here for a weekend baseball tournament for my 13yo son. Conveniently located just seven minutes from the Galt Community Park fields this stay exceeded our expectations. Malia at the front desk was extremely kind and knowledgeable. The lobby and common areas were very clean and comfortable and surprisingly very modern and decorative for the Halloween month. Kids used the pool and had a blast. The lobby was lively at night with team parents and other guests. Bar drinks in the lobby were STRONG. Strong ≠ Good just a tip for the bar staff. Morning complementary breakfast had something for everyone in our family and we all started the day full and happy. We brought our two small dogs and they had a blast too. Small patch of turf grass at the entrance of the building was perfect for them to relieve themselves, rooms had no carpet which is a plus in pet friendly hotels and they had pup treats at check in. If we have another reason to visit Galt we’ll stay here again, & again, AND AGAIN!

The property is lovely - clean, easy to locate amenities, wonderful breakfast buffet, tidy and well appointed rooms. Our King bed room had a great space for setting our suitcase down on, a wardrobe, a nice sized TV, comfortable bed, and a large walk in shower (no tub). Parking can be a hassle, and I don't think they alloted enough spaces for the number of guests they can accommodate. The pool is also very small, so don't let the photos mislead you. But still, it's a pool. The gym is a decent size. The Days Inn next door is a major drawback in safety. The morning we were set to check out, officers were leaving that property holding crack pipes. I'd still stay here again, despite the sketchy neighboring hotel, because La Quinta is well taken care of and nicely renovated.
