"We had a very good stay, great location and everything we could expect from this hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Only slight issue is parking but resolved by free parking a few minutes walk. Would recommend especially if travelling by train."

"We enjoyed our stay - the room was large and spacious, however it would have been helpful to have a small fridge. We stayed for the week but the first night seemed to be karaoke night, so it was on the loud side until about midnight All in all the space was great"

"Stayed here for two nights to visit Edinburgh, good transport links and near to a tesco. Very friendly welcome, clean and comfortable. Free parking and a continental breakfast."

"If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "

"This is an unsafe place to stay. Were advised to park our car within range of cctv. The door of our room had recently been broken into as the lock was badly replaced. Dirty linen on the bed . This is being polite . Very unreliable person managing the property. Avoid at all costs"

"Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Even on a really busy evening when fully booked in Thier restaurant they brought food to my room off Thier restaurant menu and it was the best food I had eaten in Crieff including eating at crieff hydro and a few local restaurants. The room was lovely and had a small kitchenette more than adequate. A really lovely stay. Highly recommend."

"We had a fantastic stay at Sugar Boat on our way up to the Highlands. The room was very comfortable, the staff were amazing and the food was great! Would definitely recommend! "

"Loved staying at this inn. It was a tranquil oasis after traveling all day and all night. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, the proximity to town and castle were excellent and the cooked to order breakfasts were delicious! We highly recommend Castlecroft !!"

"Second time I've stayed here and loved it just as much this time as last. There was some sort of annoying alarm/noise going off quite late at night which stopped just as I was away to call for help. Other than that it was another lovely stay!"

"Managed to park at the rear of the hotel but difficult to locate access Issue with shower in the morning as didn’t work "

"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "
