"Overall, a really nice stay! The service was great and the quality of the amenities very good, e.g. continental breakfast much better than most places I’ve been to in the last few years.Very comfortable except for the pillows, which were too big and a bit hard and lumpy. In addition, it was easy to hear noises from adjoining rooms. But I haven’t stayed in a motel for many years, so may have had unrealistic expectations :-)."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Beachside Inn. We loved being close to the ocean and going for walks along the beach. It's also close to a number of nice dining places and State Street, the downtown part of Santa Barbara with a number of fun shops as well as the art museum. The hotel offers a great breakfast, likely the best of any hotel I've stayed at. It was so nice to stay in a community that respects the environment as for once the tableware wasn't plastic. The staff was very courteous....

"I knew the room would be small (as we got the smallest room they had), but it was barely walkable. About 8 inches to scoot between the wall and the bed. Everything was good quality and the bed itself was comfortable, but overall not worth the price paid. Usually you can justify the price with amenities, but this location doesn’t have a hot tub, or breakfast, etc."
