"We arrived very very late but they were waiting for us at check in and were quick, helpful and very friendly Clock in the room does not work. Lights on vanity mirror and lights on large bathroom mirror do not work. Balcony glass should be cleaned properly as much of debris there is from construction of bldg. Disappointing when trying to see the city skyline through splatters on glass and stickers. "

"The staff is amazing: kind, warm, helpful. Food is also excellent, from the breakfast to all the dinners and snacks I tried. I also liked the location: a quick ride to the airport, lots of ubers and taxis nearby, and you can easily walk to the metro station near the National Museum (which is just around the corner), souq waqif, Museum of Islamic Art, etc. I have stayed in many types of hotels around Doha during previous visits, Just spent 10 days at the DoubleTree for work and highly recommend...

Frustrating experience removed our good impression

"We were told pool was closed but it was not! We were not told that one must use a specific lift/elevator to access the pool. Was finally able to use the pool on the eighth day of our stay when we learned the all the secret information. However, we were told by reception that the pool was open until 18:00 but we were turned away at 17:15 on our last night and told the pool closes at 17:00. "
