We stayed there because it was convenient for what our plans were. Casino/hotel restaurant options were decent. Overall appearance of the facility was above average. But a number of the casino slot machines appear to be very dated. Some of the display screens were so dark you could hardly make out the results of your spin. A lot of empty drink cups at the machines, ash trays that needed to be emptied. Quite disappointed in the accomodations overall. The mattress was in our room was horrible. Lumpy, broken down feeling. A piece of the metal frame was protruding from one side far enough you could have caught your shin on it if not careful. Only one wash cloth was supplied, (there were two of us). Shower gel was almost empty, so it was a fight to get enough out. We had stayed at the Hollywood several years ago, and found it pleasant enough. But this time was a real let down.

I did appreciate the room size and quiet atmosphere away from the casino. The room servicing was poor. I only wanted the bathroom cleaned on the second day and brought it to the staff attention. I left for the day and it was not done. I brought it to the staff attention again on the next day and left for the day and it was not done on my return. I was leaving the next morning, so the point became moot.

We had 2 rooms. One of the rooms the toilet mad an aweful noise. I fixed that one myself. In the other room the bathroom faucet was broken. You could turn it on but then you couldn't turn it off. We called for maintenance but they never shoed up. So the faucet ran all night long and could still be running as far as I know. It was still running when we left this morning.
