"The property is very nice, clean and tidy that makes 100% the same as the pictures. It has all needed utensils and crockery so making dinner after a day. There is also a charcoal BBQ but we did not use. The host couples are very helpful. When we accidently turned off the boiler, they came and checked on us almost immediately. "We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. "The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
