. The chalet had perfect views of the lake and it felt very private. You could hear the birds singing and we even saw a red squirrel right outside our window. The chalet has a rustic feel, with a very comfortable king sized bed, bathroom, and a handy fridge. There is a railway path just behind the lodges for convenient

walks with lovely views. Excellent continental breakfast with a good choice of cereal, fruit, ham, cheese,...

Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!"
