"I enjoyed my stay here however there were many disappointments as well. The room wasn’t great. There was mould on the walls in the bathroom. The toilet seat was broken. On 2 days out of 3 there was no hot water in the mornings. The TV didn’t work on my 2nd & 3rd day. The patio door was stuck and wouldn’t open or lock properly. The owners weren’t very friendly. "The property is beautiful and very unique. However, if you have a baby it would not be the best location as there are stairs. The restaurant has been restored. The restaurant was the horse barn but you cannot tell as the work and decor are beautiful. The food and service were fantastic, Antonela and Lucca were amazing at making sure our food was to our liking."

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
