The staff made a huge effort to ensure we had an enjoyable weekend- the road infront of the hotel was closed but they made arrangements so we could park on the property of one of their friends for the weekend- and picked me up after leaving the car! "We spent a lovely night in the Emerald Suite. The hosts greeted us on arrival and explained all the amenities, as well as answering a few questions about nearby activities. The room is spacious, comfortable and brand new. The bed is excellent and the shower and bath have great water pressure. "Very good location for travel UK to final destination either France or Switzerland. We didn’t use the Spa will do one day. Dinner nice but not memorable. Trout and cream with horseradish was very pretty but had obviously been frozen and had that tasteless feel. "L'accueil a été extrêmement chaleureux, de la part de Guillaume et Némo mais aussi par l'impression 'cosy' dès qu'on entre dans leur maison qui était ce soir là baignée dans un épais brouillard de novembre. La cheminée dispensait une chaleur bienvenue après tous ces kilomètres et un peu de retard dû à un problème d'huile moteur... Guillaume nous a attendus et reçus avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous l'en remercions encore. Et cerise sur le gâteau, il enseigne le golf dans un club tout proche....
