"Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "We arrived at this lovely hotel to find that Expedia (hotels.com) had only forwarded a booking for one room, not the two we'd booked online. It appears this was not an isolated incident. Luckily the hotel could provide a room for the three of us but the mistake by hotels.com/could have ruined the most important part of our holiday."

"Had a fantastic long weekend at Du Park Hotel, we stayed in one of the Junior Suites with a jacuzzi bath in the room. We also had 2 balconies with great views. We didn’t find any sign to put at the door so we don’t get disturbed by morning cleanings, but somehow the staff seem to know exactly when you leave the room and clean it, even in the afternoon.
