"Clean room with everything we needed for our one night stay to break up our journey to aviemore. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a lovely meal in the pub on the evening and a great breakfast the morning after. Would stay again! "

"Really enjoyed our stay here. It's right in the middle of the main shopping and dining area, and was the perfect location for us. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff is very helpful. They don't do breakfast, but give each guest a little goodie bag each morning. The pub downstairs is lively and fun, but not too loud."

"The room was good with a large bathroom and perfectly acceptable. But it wasn't great. No chairs to sit in, only window seats which were uncomfortable. We were in room 1, right by the front door so rather noisy until the restaurant closed and our window (with a great view) was by the front door, so it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl. Would I stay again? Maybe, it was OK, just not great."

"Owners were lovely, the bar had great cask ale and a very welcoming relaxed vibe. Food looked really good, but the property is a bit tired. Bedroom super clean and comfortable. Overall great value."
