It's a characterful pub with rooms above, and crying out for a facelift. Nevertheless our second floor room was clean and quiet and served us well for a one night stay before the ferry. For public transport location couldn't be better. Wetherspoon is handy for breakfast. Karaoke enthusiasts could have a great stay here.

Clean older room, remodeled a little, nothing fancy, but the price reflects it (58£ i think) and it was fine for just one night. FYI 2 flights of stairs … Parking in front in the street free from 6 pm to 9 am. Local bar downstairs but no noise.
