"This is a very beautiful spot. The rooms are very comfortable and it's a wonderful place to relax. But we were given very old, threadbare towels. They were immediately replaced when we pointed this out, but they should never have been used in the first place. The breakfast is also adequate rather than anything really appetising. And the service at breakfast was less than friendly."

"Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...

"I only stayed for a night but I felt very welcome. Waterstone's manager arranged for an early check-in and was extremely helpful throughout my stay. The facilities are modern, clean and convenient to Somerset West and Stellenbosch."

"Immaculately decorated. Pristine,Tasteful. Superbly comfortable superkingbed and bed linen with a high( poss 600 plus?) thread count. Quiet too, so an excellent nights sleep despite the guest house being centrally located. Breakfast of fruit yoghurt and granola followed by a home cooked breakfast wrap was beautiful and nicely presented. Book early if you want an outside table as you will otherwise have to sit indoors and watch other tables stay empty if prebooked guests are late for breakfast!...

"This is a very nice and comfortable guest house in a location that is walkable to shops and restaurants. The room was large with views of the pool. The staff was attentive and kind.
